Terms of Use
Effective date: October 6, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Edibl AI LLC ("we", "us"), who runs FitApp. They cover your use of the FitApp app and your subscription. Please read them, together with our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer. By creating an account or using FitApp, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use FitApp
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use FitApp and to buy a subscription, and they agree to these terms for you. Supplement advice is only shown to adults (18 and over).
You must give your real date of birth, and accurate answers to the coach's questions. The coach's safety checks rely on them.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at liamckoster@gmail.com if you think someone else has used your account. One account is for one person. You're responsible for what happens under your account, unless it's caused by our failure to keep the app secure.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Account > Delete account, or as described on our account deletion page.
3. What FitApp does
FitApp has an AI coach that asks about your goals, health and schedule, then gives you general fitness, nutrition and, for adults, supplement information, including a weekly plan. You can also log workouts, weight, protein and water, track your progress, and, if you choose, connect Apple Health or Health Connect so the coach can take your sleep and recovery into account.
Every recommendation the coach makes must cite at least two sources: from our curated library of public health agencies, peer-reviewed journals and professional bodies, or recent systematic reviews, meta-analyses and guidelines the coach finds on PubMed for your question, which are marked as not yet reviewed by us. If it can't find two, it says so and doesn't recommend anything. If your answers show a red flag, such as pregnancy, a heart condition or an eating disorder, the coach won't give you a plan or advice and will suggest you see a health professional first.
We may change, add or remove features over time. If a change takes away something important that you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.
4. Not medical advice
FitApp gives general fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it doesn't replace a doctor or other qualified health professional. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise, diet or supplement plan, especially if you have a health condition, take medication or are pregnant. Stop exercising and get medical help if you feel unwell. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Please read our full Medical Disclaimer.
5. AI-generated content can be wrong
The coach's answers and plans are written by an AI model. Although our evidence and safety rules check every answer before you see it, the coach can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date, can misunderstand you, and can't examine you or know your full medical history. Use your own judgment, check the sources it cites, and don't follow advice that doesn't feel right for your body. The library's sources are summarized in our own words, and papers found on PubMed are linked as published; the original publications are the authority.
If an answer looks wrong, unsafe or badly sourced, please use Report on that answer or plan item.
6. Using FitApp fairly
When you use FitApp, please don't:
- break the law, or use the app for anyone else or for commercial purposes;
- try to get the coach to break its safety or evidence rules, or to produce content unrelated to fitness, nutrition, sleep and recovery;
- try to access other people's data, our servers or systems, or get around security, usage limits or payment;
- copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the app or its content, except where the law allows;
- send anything harmful, abusive or unlawful in messages, reports or support requests.
To keep the coach fair and affordable for everyone, some features have usage limits. At the moment you can send the coach up to 30 messages an hour and 150 a day, build up to 5 plans a day, save up to 10 workouts a day, send up to 20 reports and 5 support messages a day, and download your data up to 5 times a day. We may change these limits.
7. Reporting content
You can report any answer from the coach, or any part of your plan, with Report next to it. Choose a reason and add details if you like. We review reports and use them to make the coach safer and more accurate. To contact us about anything else, use Settings > Contact support or email liamckoster@gmail.com.
8. Subscriptions and automatic renewal
What's free and what's paid. Some of FitApp is free, and some features need a subscription. The subscription screen in the app shows what's included before you buy.
Price and period. The subscription is a monthly subscription that renews automatically each month. The price and any free trial or introductory price are shown in the app before you buy. They come from the Apple App Store or Google Play, in your local currency, as the store sets them.
Payment. You buy and pay for your subscription through your Apple Account (App Store) or your Google Play account. Your account is charged when you confirm the purchase, or, if you start a free trial, when the free trial ends. We never see or store your payment details.
Free trials and introductory prices. If we offer a free trial or an introductory price, the app only shows it if the store says you're eligible. If you cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends, you won't be charged. After a free trial or introductory price, the subscription continues at the full price shown in the app.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown in the app for that period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
How to cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- iPhone or iPad (App Store): open your App Store account settings (in the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions), choose FitApp and cancel. You can also get there from FitApp: Settings > Subscription > Manage subscription.
- Android (Google Play): open the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose FitApp and cancel. You can also get there from FitApp: Settings > Subscription > Manage subscription.
Payment problems. If a renewal payment fails, the store may keep trying for a while. You may keep access during that time, and the app will tell you there's a billing problem.
Refunds. Because Apple or Google takes your payment, refunds are handled by them under their own refund policies. We can't issue refunds ourselves. For the App Store, use Apple's "Report a Problem" page; for Google Play, follow Google Play's refund process.
Price changes. If the price of your subscription changes, the store will tell you in advance, and in some cases will ask you to agree before you're charged the new price.
Restore Purchases. If you reinstall FitApp or change devices, use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen or in Settings > Subscription, signed in to your FitApp account.
Deleting your account or the app doesn't cancel your subscription. Your subscription is with Apple or Google, so deleting your FitApp account or removing the app won't stop the store charging you. Cancel your subscription first, as described above. When you delete your account while a subscription is still renewing, the app reminds you of this.
9. Apple App Store terms
If you got FitApp from the Apple App Store, these extra terms apply, and they take priority over the rest of these terms where they conflict:
- Who the agreement is with. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for FitApp and its content.
- Your licence. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use FitApp on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Other accounts linked to your purchasing account through Family Sharing or volume purchasing may also use it where those rules allow.
- Maintenance and support. We, not Apple, are responsible for providing any maintenance and support for FitApp, as described in these terms or as the law requires. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for FitApp.
- Warranty. We, not Apple, are responsible for any warranties for FitApp, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they aren't effectively disclaimed. If FitApp fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for FitApp, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for FitApp, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses from a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility under these terms.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claims by you or a third party about FitApp or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that FitApp fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws, including claims about its use of Apple Health (HealthKit).
- Intellectual property claims. If someone claims that FitApp, or your possession or use of it, infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you aren't located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you aren't on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Contact. Questions, complaints or claims about FitApp go to Edibl AI LLC, 9552 Queensbury Ct, Windermere, FL 34786, USA, liamckoster@gmail.com.
- Third-party terms. When you use FitApp, you must also follow any third-party terms that apply to you, such as your mobile data provider's terms.
- Apple as third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept these terms, Apple has the right (and is treated as having accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
10. Google Play
If you got FitApp from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply to your download and purchases. Google isn't a party to these terms and isn't responsible for FitApp.
11. Your content and our content
Your content. Your messages, answers, logs, reports and support messages stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run FitApp for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can use the coach's answers and plans for your own personal use.
Our content. FitApp, including its design, text, icons, source summaries and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Apart from the licence in these terms, we don't give you any rights in it. The sources the coach cites belong to their publishers; we summarize them in our own words and link to the originals.
12. Ending your use of FitApp
You can stop using FitApp at any time, and delete your account in Settings > Account > Delete account.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we must for legal reasons, or to protect other people or FitApp. We'll tell you why unless the law or safety reasons prevent it. If we decide to stop offering FitApp altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice.
13. Our responsibility to you
No guarantee of results. We work hard to make FitApp accurate, safe and available, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise particular fitness or health results, or that the app will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on our liability. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with FitApp is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months before the claim.
What we don't limit. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit or exclude. If you're a consumer, nothing in these terms affects the rights the law gives you that can't be changed by agreement.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live. If you live in a country whose laws let consumers bring claims in their home courts, such as a country in the European Union or the UK, you can do that.
Before starting any claim, please contact us at liamckoster@gmail.com so we can try to sort things out.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we change FitApp or the law changes. We'll update the effective date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll tell you by email before it takes effect. If you don't agree with the new terms, you can stop using FitApp and delete your account before they take effect.
